all tied up

So I was on the hunt for maternity jeans and it proved to be extremely difficult. There are almost no "regular" stores with options for pregnant people. I'm starting to realize sweater dresses are my best friend.

I found this dress at Nordstrom and I was instantly drawn to it. My exact words were "Babe, this is v. cute". I couldn't resist the tie waist, and once I put it on I realized I would have lots of room for my baby bump to grow. That's just a good investment!

I styled the plunging neckline with a pretty lace bralette for two reasons: 1) if it pops out it's super cute, and 2) I have boycotted actual bras. I then finished the outfit with black suede mules for a simple and polished look.
