if you're not into sneakers, skip this post 😜

As the athleisure trend continues to rise, so does my obsession with stylish sneakers. Like many women, I have always been a lover of shoes. But it has only been in the last year or so that I have started to develop an appreciation for sneaks - ones that you don't wear to the gym.
I first spotted these mauve Nikes at Little Burgundy a few months ago. I didn't buy them because I didn't "need" them. Well, you know that feeling of regret you get when you leave that certain something at the store? I had it bad. I went back the next week and - you guessed it - they were gone. Nobody even knew what shoes I was talking about! I had the opposite of buyer's remorse. I'll call it browser's remorse.
I tore through every Little Burgundy in the city. I scoured every shoe and sporting goods store I came across. I turned to the world wide web. After many long nights of trying to figure out whether "ladyfootlocker.com" is an actual thing, and whether the duty charges would be as much as the shoes themselves, I found Exclucity.
Exclucity is an urban sneaker & apparel boutique with locations in Toronto and Quebec, and a great online store. I've walked past their Queen St. location many times, but it never occurred to me to check them out until I was desperate for these shoes. Lucky for me, they had one pair left online, and they were my size. I call it fate. If you're looking for a unique pair of sneaks, definitely check them out!
