the aritzia sale

A few times a year, a magical thing happens. The Aritzia sale. If you're like me and you make semi-regular *donations* to Aritzia, this is when you get a magical phone call inviting you to shop the entire collection at a discount. As I explain to my husband, it would be irresponsible not to go. A few weeks after the aforementioned call, the sale gets even hotter, and select items are marked down even further. Therefore, we must go again.

At this season's sale, I scored some pretty sweet deals - my favourite being this lacey floral dress. It was literally one hundred dollars off.
The silhouette alone is enough to sell this piece, but the detail really puts it over the top. Not to mention, it's super comfortable and easy to wear - perfect for a hot summer day. It's also a great investment dress because the simple style and muted colours ensure it will be in for years to come.

I paired the dress with simple neutral flip flops, rose gold sunnies and my pastel blue bag. Then I twirled through the streets!
