natural skincare faves
Have you ever tried a naturally based skincare product? Did you know there are actually a lot of them on the market?
I didn’t.
Even though I like to go natural where possible in other aspects of my life, I really wasn’t aware of the healthier options in skincare. And then came Robi.
Last year, I received a range of Robi Skincare products to try, and I have been so hooked on them I haven’t looked back. Now let me just say that I receive a lot of samples. But - I have never been obsessed with anything the way I am with Robi’s Hydrating Serum. If I could only use one product for the rest of my life, this would be it! And yes, it’s all natural!!
The Hydrating Serum is formulated with argan & jojoba and it is super moisturizing without being oily. I’ve also found it works great as a primer. I use it morning and night, and if I travel somewhere and forget it, it’s pretty much the end of the world. I love this stuff.
My next fave - also from Robi - is their Glow Serum. Yep, you guessed it! All that moisturizing goodness plus a little glow for your skin. I love mixing this one with my day cream and using it when I want to go bare-faced. It gives me that little boost of brightness without being overly shimmery!
And speaking of day cream, you’ve gotta try Rocky Mountain Soap Co.’s Pomegranate Day Cream. OMG - this stuff smells amazing. It’s like putting a fruit salad on your face. And the best part - ALL NATURAL! It really makes me wonder why so many companies use artificial fragrances. The real stuff smells so much better! And it works well too - this cream keeps me hydrated all day!
The last product you have to try is an exfoliant from Escents, and it’s super cool because you can customize it based on your needs. At Escents, they have scent specialists who are very knowledgeable about essential oils, and who can recommend what scents would be beneficial to you. I got my exfoliant formulated with lemon to help wake me up in the morning, and geranium to help balance my hormones post-baby. Who knew an exfoliant could do that! I absolutely love the smell of this stuff, and it works really well too.
