velvety new year

I think we can all agree that velvet is very important. And pink velvet? Even better.

I got this great dress for something like $30 this fall and I visualized it with green boots. It then hung in my closet until I got my hands on the perfect pair to wear with it. Please tell me I'm not the only one who does this?! I just felt like I would be doing the dress a disservice by styling it any other way. My husband questioned the colour combo, but I knew in my heart it was right.
