perfect pixies

I bought Old Navy's pixie pants on a whim as some basic pants to wear to work. They were sale on sale making them about $15, so I figured I had nothing to lose. When they arrived, I was pleasantly surprised to find that they fit perfectly! I have a hard time finding pants that fit me well, particularly in stores where the sizes tend to run a bit larger. I have previously tried styles from Gap & Banana Republic (Old Navy's sister stores), but they were just a bit off. I'm short with a small waist, but a bigger bum & thighs, so it can be a challenge!

I purchased a petite size online and the length is perfect for my height! They hit me right above the ankles and look super flattering. The fabric has some stretch, but not so much that they look like leggings instead of pants. The rise is described online as "mid-rise", but on my body they fit more like a low-rise, which is fine because they're nice and snug and they're not going anywhere!

I've been wearing my pixies for work, weekend and everything in between. They are so comfortable and versatile, I will definitely be getting them in more colours! If you're looking for the perfect basic, look no further. Grab a pair of pixie pants here.

I threw on this easy white tee and sneakers with my pixies for a day of running around the city. I'm currently obsessed with these Nine West sneaks (which I also got on sale!), because they are comfortable, neutral and stylish all at the same time. I seriously wore them every day last week!
