This outfit is one of my absolute faves. Every piece was on major sale, but you'd never know it because the fabrics look so luxe. It's the perfect shopping/blogging/date night look, and it only takes about 30 seconds to throw together (because elastics, lol).

This strapless white top was a clearance find last summer, and I just love the textured fabric - it really adds something extra! The top actually has two tiers, but I tucked the bottom tier into my culottes so that it wouldn't be too long. I prefer crop tops with high rise bottoms - especially culottes - because they draw the eye to your waist and prevent you from looking frumpy (even if your look is relaxed like this one)!

The culottes were this season's sale find and I love them because they are so versatile. They look black but are actually a dark navy, and they match just about everything. They're done in a super light satin-y fabric, and they have an elastic waist so they're super comfy. They're easy to dress up with a cute blouse or dress down with a basic tee - and did I mention they have pockets?! I think everyone needs a basic pair of culottes because they pretty much look like a skirt, but you don't have to worry about that pesky wind! #stylehack, am I right? 😉

I chose these nude mules for this look because I wanted something understated, and they have just enough of a heel to keep me from looking short. (What is our obsession with looking tall anyways?? Another topic for another day.) These mules were on ridiculous sale and they're pretty comfy too.
