My Pampers Swaddlers Review!

Okay mamas, dadas, parents-to-be - let’s get real! There are a lot of big decisions to make when you’re expecting a new baby, and one of them is which diapers you’re going to buy. When I was pregnant with Milo (my first), I became so overwhelmed by all of the *baby things* that I delegated this decision to my husband. After doing his own research, he decided we would try Pampers. Well, spoiler alert: two babies and countless diaper changes later, we’re still a Pampers family!

I really didn’t know much about babies before I had one of my own (lol), so I had absolutely no idea how major those newborn diapers could be. To put it simply, newborn poops are gross. They are what you’d classify as a high risk for leaks, without the proper protection! Luckily, Pampers Swaddlers are so incredibly absorbent, they have seen us through some very potentially messy moments. Blowouts? We don’t know her!

For us, it’s obvious why Pampers is Canada’s most trusted diaper brand*. Both our babies have been very active from a young age, and we’ve never had to worry about leaks. Which is great because I have enough to worry about as it is, you know?! We love that even after a full night’s sleep, we don’t experience any leaks or rashes! Just happy babies (and happy mama)!

Besides their amazing absorbency, what I love about Pampers Swaddlers is their softness. As soon as you open that first pack and feel them for yourself, you know they’re going to be comfortable for baby. They feel like your favourite cozy blanket. Pampers Swaddlers are actually Pampers softest, most absorbent diapers ever. So you really can feel confident that you’ve made the right choice!

I remember when I was first pregnant, Alex turned to me one day and said, “Should we practice??”. He was talking about diapers. Neither of us had ever changed one before! So we grabbed a teddy bear and went for the practice run, and it really wasn’t that hard. That tiny newborn-size Pampers Swaddler gave us the little boost of confidence we needed as we were beginning our journey as parents.

Of course we now know babies are a little more wiggly than teddies.

Parenting is a pretty wild ride, and it seems like there is always something to be worried about. But diapers don’t have to be one of those things.

Pampers Swaddlers are soft & comfortable, with ultra-absorbent layers that help soothe and protect baby’s delicate skin. They have unique LockAway Channels™ that lock wetness away from skin, and a Wetness Indicator™ that changes colour when baby’s wet, so you know when it’s time for a change.

Babies don’t come with a manual, but at least their Pampers have that little blue stripe!!

I’m almost 5 years into this mama gig, and I am constantly growing, evolving, learning something new. I don’t have it all figured out, but I’m glad Pampers is along for the ride.
